For Passover Dinner

As I have explained in A Guide to a Christian Seder, we may never know the particulars of Jesus' Last Passover Supper. Some Christians spend time arguing whether the Last Supper was a Passover. And yet, it is by sharing this dinner with Him that we can grow in understanding and move closer to an intimate relationship with Him.

As we cannot duplicate Jesus' Seder, we must be guided by the Holy Spirit and allow for an event that will represent our own denominational and spiritual biases. We must put together a Worship event that can change and grow as Spirit dictates.

The Never Ending Guide is nothing more than the experiences of our brothers and sisters in Christ. There will be comments that will inspire us as well as descriptions that we will reject. Accept and use those things that will work for your congregation and respect the comments that you disagree with. After all, the idea is to share One Table and One Dinner as the Body of Christ.

Send your comments. Tell us about your Seder. What worked well and what didn't. Remember, your comments on these pages could benefit thousands.

I have a wonderful form prepared for your comments, but I am still trying to figure out the CGI code to make it work. Until than, please use the E-Mail button. Be sure to include your Churches name, address, City, State, and Web Page if you have one. I hope to soon have a directory of every Church I know about which is hosting Seder with Date, Time and Location. Who knows, you may make new friends at your next Seder. If you do not have a Web Page, please include a Church contact person and E-Mail address if different than the one you use to send this comment. No comments will be published if anonymous, however you may request that your name, E-Mail, Church and/or any other information not appear on this site. And, of course, there will be no commercial use of this information by this Site.

And now, brothers and sisters, as I close, let me say this one more thing: Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about. Keep putting into practice all you learned from me and saw me doing, and the God of peace will be with you.
St. Paul
